A new regular at the Saturday morning Thetis Lake training runs, Susan had a solid race at the Land's End 5K with a 2nd place finish in her age group. It was her first race as a Harrier!

Mike Ellis
Mike turned in an awesome performance at Penticton's Ironman Canada Triathlon. He won the 60+ age group with a finishing time of 12:45:02. He swam 3.8K in 1:41:10, cycled 180.2K in 6:40:10, then ran a 4:23:43 marathon.

Christina King and Linda Gibson
Christina and Linda were the first Harriers home in the Women's Transition House run at UVic. Linda ran the 8K and Christina walked the 4K in preparation for the upcoming BC Seniors Games in Port Alberni, where she'll be competing in the 10K race walk.

Al and new Harrier Craig successfully completed their incredible 2-day, 233 km run from Courtenay to Victoria. The pair raised a substantial sum for diabetes research.

Greg is recovering well after collapsing at the finish of the Harriers 8K. Tests revealed a correctible heart condition, treatable with surgery. The Harriers sent a get well card, signed by members at the January 13 club meeting, and enclosed a complimentary club membership.
