Train

PIH offers several regular training sessions each week. Weekly training sessions occur:

  • Saturday morning at Thetis Lake Park
  • Tuesday after work at various locations
  • Thrusday Mornings at various locations 

The club also offers speial non-race events throughout the year, such as Hound Hikes, Wilderness Runs, and Holiday Runs. 

Visitors are welcome to attend a training session. Just drop by and let us know you're new!

Runs start from the main parking lot in the winter and Prior lake in the summer. Check the page for the exact schedule.

This is the classic Prairie Inn Harriers social run with groups ranging from slow to elite. All runners and walkers welcome.

Tuesday Night Workout at Mount Doug in 2012.5:15 pm Tuesdays - Weekly after work speed workout. Everyone welcome, the fasties will pick up slower runners on the final lap.

NOTE: Meeting location switches to Mount Doug Park as of April 30.

The Thursday Morning Gang at Beaver Lake, December 2007 9:00 am Thursday at various locations around Greater Victoria. See the page for details.

The group was started by Maurice Tarrant and initially attracted only about half a dozen runners, mostly retired friends of Maurice. Over the past few years the group has blossomed and now has a consistent core group of about 30 runners and walkers.

If you're training for triathlons or just enjoy cycling, the Prairie Inn Harriers have weekly scheduled group rides starting May 1 and ending September 30.  All paces are accommodated especially on Sundays and Thursdays where new riders are encouraged to join the Harriers-led group rides.
