The Harriers Annual General Meeting is held every January and four or more executive officers are elected: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Registrar and Directors at Large.  In addition to the elected executive, a number of Venue Coordinators are appointed to assist with club governance and/or to manage certain club responsibilities and tasks throughout the year.

The President is the chief executive officer of the society and supervises the control of all club business and affairs.  They preside at all meetings of the directors and recognize bylaws of the constitution at general club meetings.

Vice President

The Vice President shall perform the function and duties of the President in his absence.  They will assist the President with tasks such as fixtures, race reports and social events.

Secretary

The Secretary shall keep a book of minutes at all meetings of the directors or members.  They will manage all correspondence of the society.

Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for all finances, assets and securities of the society.  They receive and disburse monies from all sources and maintain the financial records of the club.

Membership Registrar

The Membership Registrar is responsible to register all club members in the Harriers database so their names appear on the current membership list on our PIH website.  They are also responsible for updating and registering PIH members that wish to belong to BC Athletics and be eligible for provincial championship events, awards and B.C. team selection in national and international events.

Responsible for reporting all Harriers-hosted race information and club social functions including club runs/hikes on Facebook and Twitter.

Event Photography Coordinator

Race Equipment Coordinator

Vancouver Island Runners' Association Coordinator

Responsible for representing the Harriers at VIRA meetings and providing liaison with Vancouver Island Runners' Association.

Results and Races Coordinator

Responsible for reporting current race results and advising the membership on upcoming race dates, and maintaining various results databases on the PIH website.

Club History Coordinator
